** All proceeds from digital downloads to go NWT Pride until the end of July! ** These songs are the result of both physical and emotional journeys. It all started for me with a roadtrip to Slab City, California, a city of squatters in the Sonoran Desert, and ended in a small town in Canada's sub-arctic. In between, we recorded off the grid and under the stars, in livingrooms all over North America, and finally a cross-continental collaboration with producer Jeremy Bradfield, while we sent tracks and mixes across the Atlantic using Dropbox. If you listen closely you will even hear birds and crickets in the quieter parts of some songs. It has been an enormous and emotional undertaking and I'm thrilled to be finally presenting these songs to you.
